Jonathan H. Glaser, CFP®Jon’s desire to work in an environment that puts the needs of clients first and promotes a more prudent approach with client’s assets led him to launch an “Iowa Nice” alternative to Wall Street. He has served as Iowa Wealth Management’s Managing Partner and firm Principal since its founding.

Jon's introduction to the financial services industry began in the 1960s during his early childhood when he would volunteer as a trade runner for First Mid America, a firm that employed both his parents. Jon furthered his certifications in 2007 when he passed the CFP® Exam, becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

As a response to the financial crisis that gripped the country from 2008-2009, Jon established Iowa Wealth Management in January of 2010. As Managing Partner with over 30 years of industry experience, Jon leads portfolio development and research for Iowa Wealth Management clients, concentrating primarily on individual investors and not-for-profit endowments. Libby GlaserAs the third generation of the Glaser family working as an Investment Adviser, Libby credits the influences of her father, Jon and her grandparents Jim and June Glaser in her desire to continue a tradition of advice and service to the investor community that reaches back to 1967.

A native of Des Moines, Libby graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in 2010 and went on to graduate from the University of Iowa with a degree in Communication Studies. During her time in Iowa City, Libby was an intern for the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, which led her to attend the Okoboji Entrepreneurial Institute (OEI), a nationally recognized entrepreneurial conference for college students. Soon after, she was asked to organize OEI for the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation in Spencer, IA, and moved to the Iowa Great Lakes region upon graduation.

Libby worked in economic development for two years before accepting the opportunity to become a Financial Advisor, in 2016, with Bank Midwest Wealth Management in Spirit Lake, IA. During her time at Bank Midwest, Libby received various securities licenses and built relationships with families and businesses across northwest Iowa. Motivated by a strong desire “to work in the family business”, in August of 2018 Libby moved back to her hometown to accept a position at Iowa Wealth Management as an Investment Adviser.

Libby’s role at Iowa Wealth Management is to provide investment advice and service to clients and potential clients while also overseeing client communications and marketing.
